Refurbishment & Renovation

We take tired, unmodernised or dilapidated properties and transform them into high-specification homes.

Refurbishment & Renovation

Plenty of good houses have been let down by decades of wear, poor decisions and cheap patch-ups. A refurbishment is the chance to put all of that right. We take on properties that are tired, dated or close to derelict and bring them back as homes fit for the way people live now, handling everything from the first strip-out to the very last coat of paint.

Older buildings tend to keep their surprises hidden until you open them up, so we plan for exactly that. Once the plaster is off and the floors are up, we deal with the structure and the services first, the parts nobody sees but everybody relies on, before we move on to the work that shows. Rushing that order is how problems end up buried rather than fixed.

Where a building has period character worth keeping, we keep it, and we let the new work sit comfortably alongside the old rather than fight against it. The result is a home that feels contemporary and solid without losing the things that made it worth saving in the first place.

What is involved

  • Full strip-out through to the final finishes
  • Renewed structure, services and layout where needed
  • Contemporary, high-specification interiors
  • Period features handled with care and kept where they count
  • Problems dealt with properly rather than covered over

The parts that matter

The finish is what people notice, but the quality of a refurbishment is decided long before the decorating begins. Sound structure, dry walls, sensible wiring and pipework and a layout that flows are what make a renovated home a pleasure to live in for years, and that is where most of our care quietly goes.
